Colores Absentes
Colores Absentes is a personal project by Tomek Albin, rooted in experimentation and derived from his long-term series Insomnia. Shifting his fascination with nocturnal urban spaces into the studio, Albin works with light, textures, and structures that echo the fabric of the city. Using construction waste and recycled materials, he recontextualizes objects seemingly devoid of value through modification, color, and form. Color becomes the central subject—ambiguous, nonconforming, and open to reinterpretation. Colores Absentes invites viewers to reconsider what is overlooked and to question whether an error, seen in a new context, can reveal unexpected potential. Each photo from this series is available in an edition of 5 + 1GP collector prints in two different sizes. 147/110cm 100/75cm To buy this work please contact: info@tomekalbin.com
