Mapei - Ultracolor Plus
The project created for Mapei was an author-driven photographic and scenographic experiment in which color became the central element of the image. Drawing inspiration from architecture, we designed and built physical objects and spaces, working exclusively with color, geometry, and light. Each composition was conceived as an individual interpretation of an Ultracolor Plus shade, treated as a tool for visual narration and emotional expression. All scenographic elements were created physically, without the use of rendering or artificial intelligence. Although the final images may suggest digital intervention, every form was handcrafted and photographed in-camera, allowing for complete control over color accuracy, texture, and visual consistency. The project presents grout as a conscious aesthetic detail and color as a powerful element capable of shaping space and its character.
