Urban Godzillas
The series explores the process of visual perception in the world of man-made elements, at the edge of illusion and reality. What we see is a stream of appearing and disappearing objects – however our understanding of this reality depends on how, where and if we look. How do the artificial light, road structures, light patterns become the real and what is the boundary between the objects and the viewer? What happens between seeing the object and understanding of what we see? Photos were made in urban spaces, using analog camera.
